Yusaf never goes to work; he goes into the studio to meet friends and share his craft. Yusaf trained at Rusk in Scotland, and Vidal Sassoon in London.
Over the past 20 years, Yusaf has earned the loyalty of many clients, most of them returning to his business as friends. His personality is infectious and you know you’re in good hands when you sit in his chair. In his own words, he explains his style as natural, timeless and easy maintenance.

Kristen began her fulltime hairdressing career in 2017 after moving to London England. She studied at then London Hair Academy and did some apprenticing at other salons in London and Vancouver like Sukis, before making her way to Yusaf Hair Studio. Kristen’s passion for hair started at a very young age cutting and colouring for family and friends, styling friends before a night out starting back in 2005.
Kristen is very knowledgeable about the products carried in our salon and is happy to help you pick the best products for your hair. Kristen was working in finance for almost 10 years previously and decided she was ready to help people feel and look their best, so made the big change and we are happy she did. She will always tell you what to expect and give you options the best suit your needs.

Jessa graduated from the full time Hairstyling program at Blanche Macdonald Center, sparking her passion in hair design. She was 18 when she decided to start her career in hairstyling, it has been her dream since she was a little girl to be in the beauty industry so she knew she was stepping into the right path. Jessa specializes in colour, making every client who sits in her chair feel beautiful and confident about themselves.
Jessa loves what she does, she loves that she can express her creativity into her own work and have others enjoy it too! Jessa is always open to new clients, and looks forward to doing your hair.
